Nielsen Park Cafe & Restaurant (Permanently Closed)

We arrived without a booking, Sunday afternoon 1.15PM had a great window seat sucking up the glorious sunshine, Entree Sydney Rock oysters fresh as they could be,for me and split grilled prawns for Jenny, followed by the catch of the day, Baked Silver Dory, with greens & small cut baked potatoes and the most sensational sauce, every flavour a wonderful individual taste ..... wonderful meal and great service

also a great selection of wines !

I think a Michelin Star in the making here!

Shark Beach is harbour swimming at its finest - deep water, netted, not very populated except on hot weekends in the summer. If you're lucky you'll hear the flapping of sails in the breeze while floating in the water and marvelling at the natural wonder that is Sydney Harbour.

Beautiful beach (with shark net) and facilities. Can get very busy on a sunny summer's day though. Get there early!
