Welcome to Nightingale Studios! This is where the magic happens...

Prepping for today’s lessons and smashing through the to-do list! Surely I’m not the only one who gets a kick out of a good list?

The face behind Nightingale Studios: Hi! I’m Vivienne Calwell and I’m the owner and teacher at Nightingale Studios on the Central Coast of NSW. I’m currently studying opera here on the Coast and have studied a Bachelor Arts/Bachelor Teaching at Avondale Conservatorium. I’ve performed professionally in the States and the UK and have participated in several productions here on the Coast since returning; notably Pamina in The Magic Flute, Christine Daaé in The Phantom of the Opera, Marian Paroo in the Music Man, as well as many other featured soloist and dancer roles. I’m super passionate about excellent musicianship and sharing the story of the music. My favourite hobbies are reading a novel in the sunshine, playing bass, and just hanging out with friends.

Huge congratulations to Mairead and Tom on being cast as Dorothy and Tin Man respectively, in GMS Jnr’s latest production, “The Wiz”! You’re both exceptionally talented musicians and I know you’ll both be absolutely brilliant!
