No-D-Lay Dry Cleaners

We used No-D-Lay for many years and the company did a beautiful job of cleaning suits and delicate garments.
We sent a very expensive woollen suit we purchased in Italy to be cleaned along with another two suits. To our horror all the garments came back burnt - the wool had been scorched and the fabric was shiny.
I called to complain and ask why this had happened, after all we had used No-Lay's services for so many years without a problem. The woman was terribly rude. She started off the conversation by saying that they would not be compensating us for the damaged suits. I never asked to be compensated, even though my husband's new suit had been trashed by them. I wanted to know if they had new staff or why this had happened. I couldn't believe this woman was client facing and spoke to customers so badly. She had no respect for me, the money I had spent for them to destroy the garments and the fact we were stuck with three shiny ruined suits.
I am voting with my feet - I will never use them again. I just don't have the money to pay for beautiful things only for them to be destroyed or marred by having them so called cleaned.

Always happy with the ladies here who give an honest appraisal on cleaning and repair costs. Can turn around garments same day if required if you ask nicely!

Brought my wedding gown here which is SILK, silk being much more tricky to dry clean compared to the usual tulle/lace gowns.. I was aware and took the risk anyway. The day came to pick up my gown however it was not ready, they informed some stains were not removed after two washes and to recommend another wash.. gown was also not pressed at this stage. Because I was not in a hurry I was ok with the delay and to go ahead with a third wash and wait another week. However, I noticed the dress looking much more ivory than its original colour which I called them the next day to address my concern. A lady who answered my call and was extremely obnoxious, questioning me how that could happen and demanded me to come in and to just take my dress the way it is and also trying to disregard if I could show her my photos of what the dress looked prior. From her tone she seem annoyed and she was yelling to the point a man had to take over the convo. This man was polite and understood what was happening also offering to fix the problem as best he could. I trusted him & was glad of his reassurance. I really was put off by that lady for her fowl nature & attitude towards a customer and thought she represented that company wrongly. If the man named 'Joseph' had not addressed my problem I really would have just picked up my dress and asked for a refund and gone to a much more expertised dry cleaners for bridal gowns. Dress looked fine in the end thank goodness however a few stains were not able to remove completely which I am not too fussed over. Although still not to its true colour I am thankful it looked much better than the first visit to pick it up. Cannot thank Joseph enough, he really took care of me and dealt with my enquiries in the most pleasant manner. Also a few pearls fell off my dress during the wash however Joseph kindly kept them for me. I guess if you're after your usual dry cleaning they would be great however when it comes to bridal gowns which are extremely delicate, try elsewhere as it may save you some time and possibly issues. They were also reasonably priced with an upfront cash payment save 10% which honestly drew me in.

Best dry cleaners I have ever used. Experts in their field and always willing to discuss what needs to be done and to give advice. Second to none. Friends recommended them and I am so very pleased

Staff were extremely rude, and the quote I received in store was more than $150 over what I had been told it would cost on the phone, and I described the dress and stains in detail.

An attempt to lure customers in and then price hike them in my opinion. Use Jeeves in Lindfield for wedding dress dry cleaning. Prices are very reasonable, and the staff were lovely.
