If I could give less than one star I would. Very poor customer service. Kitchen was started 6 weeks ago and still not complete. Finishes are not up to the high standard that you should expect from such a well know company. Would definitely not recommend to anyone.

The service given to us at the showroom in Gordon by Sally and Amanda was warm, courteous and knowledgeable. They showed genuine interest in helping us find our dream kitchen.

Paul Treseder designed the kitchen to our requirements and so far, we are very pleased with the service he has given us. As the kitchen is costing us $38k, the true test is in the quality and timing of the installation and finished product.

The builders currently renovating our house will provide all the plumbing and electrical services. Stay tuned as we are hoping for a drama-free installation process and a final 5-star rating.

Just had Ruard Gerritsen from Nobby's Kitchen design our kitchen. Was very happy with the outcome. He comes across as courteous, helpful, knowledgeable and trustworthy. Can't wait for the new kitchen to be installed!

Nobby was meant to finish my very simple kitchen on 17 July - they actually finished it on 2 September. The job was delayed by problems with the benchtops - first they didn't arrive, then they were the wrong size and then Nobby's manufacturer had difficulty sourcing the right laminate. While Nobby staff were very pleasant and helpful and their trades are good I still experienced a seven week delay and that's not ideal.
If you want to get Nobby to quote on your kitchen I would recommend you get your other quotes first. Nobby did give me a discount on my kitchen (which cost $22,000 so not a cheap job) but it was only available if I accepted their quote immediately and paid a non refundable $1,000 deposit. Given this practice you need to have your other quotes available for comparison on the day Nobby calls.

Nobby removed the old and built the new kitchen in most efficient style. The work is first class, the tradesmen were courteous and the quoted timetable was adhered to.The new kitchen is so much better than the old, not only because of the new appliances but as a result of Nobbys planning suggestions.

With no experience dealing with building industry at all, I went to Nobby kitchen only because my brother got his Nobby kitchen 3 years ago that he's very happy with. Staff at Nobby Gordon were very friendly and patient but did tell me not to book a designer if not ready, plus any discount/promotion only valid if a contract is signed on the first visit. That's such a successful sales strategy as it put a lot of pressure on customer in my case. Even though the quotation was far above my budget, I thought maybe that's what I had to pay for a quality kitchen, so i signed the contract and paid deposit. When I told my friends and colleagues about my new kitchen, everyone thought I was mad to spend so much for a small kitchen and showed me their kitchens and their costs. Ashamed by my stupidity I did a little bit research on kitchens. Armed with those knowledge I asked for a quote from another kitchen company. I was gobsmacked at the price difference but also happy to know I can get a quality kitchen at my budget. The result leaves me with no choice but to cancel my contract with Nobby even I have to loose my deposit of $1399. I've learned my lesson in a hard way but hope my experience will be a little helpful for other people:
1. Do some homework about kitchen and kitchen companies before shopping around - you need to know what to ask.
2. Get at least 2-3 quotations.
3. Take your time to think and compare quotes, don't rush to make a decision, Don't let discount coupon distract your focus.
4. Don't show your budget in the first place when asking for a quote. Select the kitchen you want and see how much it costs, then you work from there.

If money is no object for your kitchen project, or you are pretty flexible with your budget, I believe Nobby is a brand you can trust. Unfortunately it's not for me.

Our kitchen was to be completed by 15/10/14. There was problems from the start, a kitchen designed as a compromise to suit the designers ldeas. Failure to clarify details. Was not informed until after deposit was paid that price was to be payed in full before delivery. Thereby had nothing to hold back to ensure correct and timely completion of job. Today is the 7/12/14 and things are still unfinished, power point hanging of wall, light switch partially hanging over tile, skirting boards missing under the cupboards allowing cockroaches free entry into the kitchen. Cupboard and breakfast bench top incorrect size, which was notified prior to installation. Which now needs to be dismantled and replaced, hopefully without doing to much damage to everything else. With a lot of luck it should be finally finished in the next two days. It has only taken two letters of demand, a call to fair trading ignored calls and a number of broken promises. I am discussed with the whole experience and would not recommend them to anyone. (Newcastle Store) I sincerely hope the other Stores do business better than this.

I absolutely LOVE my Nobby kitchen. From the moment I walked into the showroom, I was greeted by friendly and very knowledgeable staff. They took the time to answer my questions and explain the entire process. They helped with everything from choosing bench tops right down to colours schemes and finishes.
We then had Paul the designer come to our house and design the kitchen in detail. He was very thorough and designed a layout which suited our home perfectly. He listened to what we wanted and came up with a design that is practical and functional (and on budget). The installation was seamless and the result is an amazing kitchen that I love! I can't believe I waited so long to get a Nobby Kitchen.
