North Rocks Carlingford Casual Childcare Centre

Occasional and permanent childcare for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years.

North Rocks / Carlingford Casual Child Care Centre has been providing care of children and support of families in this area for more than 30 years. We are a non profit community based centre with an active management committee of parents. The Centre provides occasional care for children up to 6 years of age from Monday to Friday.

Many families have used the Centre in this time and the Centre is proud of its contribution to the local community in supporting families with young children through the friendships that have been forged by both parents and children and the support of early learning in our area.


What is Occasional Care?
Occasional Care / Casual Care services provide short periods of care for children under school age. Families can access occasional care on either a regular or irregular basis. Parents use occasional child care for a variety of reasons, including casual, shift-work or part-time work; respite care; crisis and emergency care, shopping or attending appointments.

Occasional care allows people the flexibility to leave their children in an early childhood learning environment to socialise and interact with other children.

Our staff
Our staff are experienced, qualified caring people who provide a nurturing environment for your child. We have a mixture of permanent and casual staff at our centre and you are welcome to come and meet them.

Philosophy
The Centres philosophy is to provide a homelike atmosphere within a caring and educationally stimulating environment for each child. The staff is aiming to build a trusting and secure environment for both children and parents.

Children are all individuals and they need to be encouraged to discover and reach their full potential. To achieve this they need a loving, stimulating and non-threatening environment, which nurtures and challenges each individual child.
