I made an appointment and still had to wait for 40 minutes. Had the same problem last time I went there too. At least the doctor was nice when I finally got called in but I won’t be going back again. What should’ve taken no more than 15 mins ended up taking up my whole lunch break from work!

Honestly these are doctors not God. They know their job and doing it to best of their abilities. I have been seeing Dr. Li for over 6 months now. Although she haven't permanently cured my problem I can say by far this is the best treatment I have reveived in Australia. She is thorough and intelligent, would listen to me patiently and devote as much time is required. She will take notes of all my problems and events and prescribe medicine for each. She has been able to connect and aim to resolve diggerent problems from root cause. I am surprised to stumble upon some bad reviews about her when searching for Zhang reviews as I didn't get her availability for next appointment and wanted to see a GP urgently and Dr. Zhang is available. Even though I have seen him only once before in similar situation I don't even agree about his bad reviews about asking for money, it's bulk billed clinic, no one asked here for a penny. I may be sounding biased but I have done blood tests here, seen both doctors and receptionists has always been exceptionally helpful. I completely agree about comments on time management as it has happened to me as well on every single appointment that I had to wait upto an hour or more for my turn but the receptionists are amazing. They are very helpful and every single time I have been informed that Dr is running late hours before my turn. They also take my request to inform me when the last patient before me goes in, since I live and work close to the clinic I just have to leave 10 mins after they inform to be there, it's 10 mins walk and still I am 10 mins before my appointment as I am aware Dr.Li takes 20-30 mins with every patient. In my view that's outrageous if you are waiting but blessing if you are suffering and need someone to hear it all and help provide all aid. That's what they do they all help. Please think twice before posting bad reviews unless you have really been treated too badly as someone really in need may end up not getting good treatment based on a bad review. Caring doctors. However, the practice has to manage bookings better. Reduce the number of bookings if you know you are going to be delayed for hours every single day.

I waited over an hour, then just left because I was told there were still three patients ahead of me. People simply cant afford to wait this long, especially if they have taken time off work to attend the GP.

I have been seeing Dr Li for approx. 8 years now. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. She is extremely knowledgeable and everything she has pin pointed as the problem was spot on. She is the most knowledgeable GP i have ever been to. Highly recommend her.

I've been seeing Dr. Li for 9 years. Yes; there is a significant wait time but that is due to her caring about her patients. Really caring about you, and not just signing off on a prescription of antibiotics.

A tip for those who work close by, have the receptionist call when the patient before you has gone in.

First visit with Dr Li (female doctor) went really well. Second visit with her I had to wait an hour (with an appointment). Third visit, again had to wait an hour with an appointment. When I made the appointment, they suggested calling before I left for the doctors however I called five times with no answer.
I like Dr Li and find her very friendly and caring.
I've been to the male doctor at the practice once, and found him dismissive and borderline rude. Dr Li is much nicer.

This was the worst medical centre I have ever been too. The doctor was dismissive and did not understand my issue, he just wanted to get me out the door. The nurse giving my blood test was extremely unhelpful and unprofessional. She was trying to find my vein and couldn't locate it, when I told her I felt faint and sick she just told me to put my head between my legs and showed no sense of compassion. It was truly a horrible experience and I would not recommend this medical centre to anyone!!

Dr Li has been my GP for several years, she is the most understanding, supportive, has the best interest for you and your health, as a health provider I have ever met. I can come to her with any issue without any reservations and feel extremely comfortable. I recommend her to all colleagues who work near her office and take my son to see her.

Dr. Ken Zhang is a very experienced and knowledgeable doctor - he is fast, accurate and thorough with his diagnosis every time I see him. His care for his patients matches their needs and requirements; he does not rush appointments to fit in more patients, yet my appointments are always on time. I highly recommend his service.

Great Doctor. Have recommended him to my wife, child and friends. He runs a busy practice and often has a queue. I saw him after a recent accident. So glad that I did. Saved me what would have been hours at RNSH.

They don't know the meaning of running appointment..waited over an hour every time to see the Doctor...

Unprofessional and Arrogant - Never Again!

The first visit I made to Dr Ken J Zhang I was told I had various problems with high cholesterol indicated by my blood test results, it was only after I informed him that I hadn't had a blood test that he revealed "Oh ive got the wrong patient details up on my screen". I was shocked. How incredibly unprofessional. I also found him very 'uninterested' and arrogant giving me the overall feeling that i was wasting his time.

Well today I made a silly decision to go back to the Plaza Centre for an urgent appointment and didn't think to check which doctor I was seeing. I informed the Receptionist about an issue with my Medicare Card and she said not too worry and take a seat. 30 minutes passed (even though I was on time for my appointment) and I was in once again with Dr. Ken J Zhang who sat looking at his computer screen for a good few minutes before rudely and abruptly telling me I would have to pay for his appointment. After explaining my situation I could tell I wasn't getting anywhere and I could tell he wasn't the slightest bit interested in my medical problem, more worried about whether or not he would get the money from me. I left extremely disappointed and upset having received no help at all with my urgent medical issue. This is not what you should expect from any medical practice, busy or not, and as for the 'doctor' mentioned I am just shocked at your level of unprofessionalism and arrogance. I will never return.

Dr Catherine Li is a fantastic Dr. Very committed, very thorough and very attentive (including with my 3 year old daughter). I much appreciate her time (no matter how long the wait) and professionalism.
