North Sydney Shotokan Karate

We offer training and instruction in the traditional Shotokan style of karate, as a member of the Shotokan Karate International Australia (SKIA).

Established in Artarmon, a suburb in the lower north shore of Sydney. The dojo (training hall) is walking distance from Artarmon train station, and is located within the former Artarmon Bowling Club, offering a venue with a traditional karate dojo feel.

Karate training provides many benefits over time, including fitness, personal growth, improved balance, coordination, concentration, whilst learning self defence, a valuable life skill.

Artarmon dojo is a member of Shotokan Karate International Australia (SKIA), the Australian arm of the global Shotokan Karate International Federation (SKIF), founded by 10th Dan Hirokazu Kanazawa, with its headquarters in Tokyo, Japan.
