I really love living in the new Council area. staff is awesome. service is second to none and i recon Pittwater and manly will benefit from this local government group that just "get it right". You may not always agree with them, but at least they listen. If you don't believe me, move into another area an see how you go. These guys are the benchmark in local government.
Remember, just cause you don't get what YOU want, doesn't mean they a wong.
Good kids park. Has bbq. Has shade and rain protection
NBC is listed at DY, the address of the dreaded Warringah Council.
You need to update your details. This council is far too large to respond well to local issues.
Great place to come chill and have a picnic. Get out the blankets and hamper and you'll have yourself a time.
Lovely spot! Great for bubble soccer!
Very lovely staff. I've visited and had some documents certified by a JP as well as arrange car parking stickers. No problems and lots of information available in reception.
After missing out on being supplied with a few new vegetation bins through my own fault, I was heartened by Warringah Council staff who resolved the situation with pleasantness and great efficiency.
Thank you, Council staff, who were responsible for an ultra-quick solution! And thank you for the new bins! Well done!
With gratitude and appreciation,
Henk Verhoeven, Beacon Hill
The new amalgamated council is showing signs of long-term improvement. I think taxpayers recognize there will be some highs and lows, but the current trend is favorable.
Rude and ill mannered when I tried to ask for assistance after receiving a $258 fine for parking outside my house in avalon. The people in this office think their position as public servants is godly, their egos puncture the mood as you askeven the simplest of questions. I was laughed at for "not knowing the road rules" and walked away feeling both angry and disappointed to know that these are the people representing our community.
What a change! A new Council that really goes out of its way to help! The administrator has a good steady hand on the tiller and this ship is headed to bigger and better things.
This council does not represent nor serve the community they claim to and their behavior is in many cases unacceptable.
I object strongly to the lack of parking at Church Pt for visitors to offshore locations like Scotland Island and Elvina Bay. The pay parking is in a really crappy, poorly maintained carpark filled with potholes and costs a fortune. The free parking up on the hill on McCarr's Creek Rd is dangerous as you have to wedge your car off the road and into bush and rock. I'd like to see Pittwater Council address this issue responsibly.
Ever since the amalgamation, the planning section of Council has improved dramatically. Yes it can be difficult to go through this process but i was shown more empathy from the new Council than i was the old 1960s Manly version. good on you guys
Bins sometimes don't get collected and seeing they are all for the environment, they should be encouraging more families with backyard chickens which are .... A Natural Fertilizer, Compost, Fresh Eggs, Minimize Waste, Natural pest control, Teach your kids about sustainability, It’s easy to keep them! Council should be supporting families of backyard chickens if they are managed well, instead of coming down hard and supporting a whingy neighbour who just doesn't like life. My Council Vote and other backyard chicken enthusiasts will be going to someone who supports us !
The Rangers never enforce non-smoking in Manly or parking regulations around Clontarf and Balgowlah. Bad parking impacts on traffic flow and reduces safety.
Got a parking ticket for not having a ticket . I have a northern beaches council sticker on my window ! This has happened twice
Rubbish
BAD
