Thanks to the team at Northern Beaches Jaguar Land Rover for the great experience taking delivery of my new Discovery this week. Especially Simon who went above and beyond to assist me in the purchase. This is the second vehicle we have bought from Simon and the JLR Northern Beaches team and I am sure it wont be the last. This vehicle was pre ordered last year and released in Australia this week. Simon took the time to understand what I wanted and needed to assist me in making the right choices in regard to the model, options and features that I am seeing the benefits of now. Outstanding service and attention to detail right through the process. Simon is the epitome of the Land Rover 'above and beyond' brand. Looking forward to the 4WD training in the near future.
Horrible customer service.
I won't be buying a Range Rover from this dealership especially from their sales executive Simon.
I walked in with my wife to inquire about buying her a Range Rover. After waiting 10 minutes for someone to interact with us, Simon sat in his chair and called to us from his desk. He couldn't even be bothered to walk over and greet us. After a brief conversation where he made us feel as if we were wasting his time, he obliged to print some details for us. As he walked off to collect the papers he started serving another customer and left us sitting there waiting for over 10 minutes.
Finally we decided to leave, as he was now wasting our time, and his words to us were "sorry I'm serving two customers right now" and he said this to us without even looking up from his computer.
So you can say goodbye to our $150,000 as we will be taking our money elsewhere.
Wanted to buy a car from them. Drove for 30 mins to test drive a model they said they had. Even confirmed 15 minutes out and said it was absolutely available to drive. Arrived and then told me car wasn't actually there, and tried to sell me something else. Incredibly sketchy and dishonest sales people...avoid!

That exhilarating feeling you get when driving an F-Type.
I like my Discovery Sport, but the after sales service available through Northern Beaches Land Rover is shockingly poor. They have no online booking system, thereby forcing you to call if you need anything service related. However, they don't seem to man the phones in the service department - I have never yet called and had someone answer the phone. Often they do not respond to messages, whether left on their VM system, or email, or through their website contact form, meaning you have to try them again the next day .. and the next ... and the next; and they do not follow up or respond in a timely manner to any issues raised.
For these reasons I would think twice about purchasing another Land Rover / Jaguar.
