The Northern Illawarra Chamber of Commerce (NICC) covers a beautiful and unique location spreading from the town of Helensburgh in the North to Thirroul /Bulli to the South. To the West we have Darkes Forest, Maddens Plains and Bulli Tops all on the Illawarra escarpment with guaranteed views from every vantage point of the breathtaking Sea Cliff Coast – the Grand Pacific Drive and The Seacliff Bridge which encompasses the many villages along the way – Otford, Stanwell Park, Coalcliff, Coledale, Wombarra and, of course, Austinmer. NICC provides a forum for the development and expansion of local commerce and industry across the Region and to this end the Chamber works closely with other Clubs, Associations, local Councils, Politicians, Police and RMS. NICC through its marketing and promotion of the area is an important stabilising force which ensures economic and integrated growth of the region where there is an abundance of opportunity. The Chamber has an active Executive Committee whose aim is to provide an effective organisation, member-based platform that values, supports and gives voice to the business community of the Northern Illawarra. The Chamber's membership is made up of many small businesses whose ethical business standards provide the environment to enhance the flow of new business. Australia-wide, there are many hundreds of similar organisations promoting local business and industry infrastructure for the benefit of residents and visiting tourists.
