Novotel Sydney Parramatta

Had our Christmas party there the other week. Excellent service from events planner, came uo with a deal that was too hard to turn down. Venue was great, with professional staff from waiters to duty manager on the night. Were able to make the room feel more festive than a “conference room” with awesome food. Team thoroughly enjoyed the event.

Came here for a company team building event. Lunch was served. Food was acceptable and there was plenty of parking. No issues except the meeting rooms aren't very sound proof and the next room complained we were too loud. Overall an acceptable experience.

The location was by the river & park, very nice to have a walk in the morning. Very convenient spot for transportation and they have parking onsite too. Staff were very nice. Overall great service experience.

Our room was musty smelling when we walked in. Clean and tidy. Window by the road. Windows opened which was good. Staff friendly. Food in the restaurant was very good

Only 1 night but will definitely stay again. Convenient to restaurants and facilities.

Cozy and professional looking. Attended a quick session in they function rooms. The hallways are a bit narrow as we were there for a pram demo.

Room was nice but very small which I could live with but I was there for a black tie dinner and there was only 1 down light in the bathroom which was well behind me as I looked into the mirror and no ceiling light at all in the main room only lamps which made it very difficult to do makeup. If there had of been more appropriate lighting would have given a 4

The Novotel hotels are doing some good things under the Accor group of hotels, however, unfortunately the Parramatta location has a bit to be desired. With some fairly dated rooms, strange layouts and lacklustre staffing numbers, the hotel isn’t the best. This said, the staff who are here are always pleasant, helpful, and accommodating. The food is very good with its own restaurant on site that does a very good menu in addition to the standard menu options. The location is the biggest and brightest feature - situated at the end of “Eat Street”, there are numerous eating options for your nights out, and located closer to the parks and walkways than any other Parramatta hotel, it makes for a good spot to roam and keep yourself amused.

Some things to work on for the hotel, but if you can see past these, the stay will be perfectly acceptable.

The worst novotel I've ever stayed in. Dirty, terrible shower. For $255 a night, you can find better places than here. Will NEVER return

Good service and very clean rooms. Looking a little dated, especially bathroom/shower but still a nice stay close to food and entertainment. Nice restaurant on ground floor as well.

Friendly staff was a great start to the stay!
Room was spacious and clean, however air-conditioning was not working. Even after changing rooms, the air-conditioning was poor at best.
Bathroom facilities were standard however the shower heads changed from room to room and was very low. Not a problem if you are under 5', but your crouching if over.
Foyer is maintained, but floor lobbies are dated.

Very comfortable and convenient location for our work conference. His facilities and great food. Parking is expensive however.
