Nowra Community Food Store

Nowra Community Food Store is a charity run store that provides groceries and fresh fruit & veg to low income families and people doing it tough.

Nowra Community Food Store is a charity run grocery store founded by Australian Mercy in October 2008.

We source our products from the NSW Food Bank, clearance warehouses, OzHarvest, and wonderful donations from the community.

To join the store, customers are required to be on a Centrelink payment of any kind or provide proof of low income, and there is a one-time 5 dollar joining fee.

The Nowra Community Food Store carries items such as bread, drinks and snacks, canned goods, pantry goods, frozen foods and fresh fruit and veg, as well as a large range of cleaning and house care products and personal care products.
We also carry other assorted donated goods, often being new clothes and toys.
