A good day for PCT and psychometric testing which is under way 73 booked in, unfortunately 9 failed the beep test. Next weekend will be the last PCT and psychometric testing before the August class.

Two weeks to go!!!!! So another 45 offers made this week for the August class with exam results and medicals coming through over the weekend so a heap more will be done over the weekend and through the week.
Good luck to those sitting UCWE, entrance exams and fitness assessments this weekend, we have already identified those who are just waiting exam results and will be getting those marked first so we can try and give people as much notice as possible.

Recruitment Update!!.
As you know we are conducting PCT every weekend until start of the August class. the biggest fail point.........The BEEP Test. We have a lot of people over these next two weeks having their second attempt. If you want to make the August class you MUST pass this point, we will not be lowering this requirement now or in the future. Can we suggest lots of stair work, lots of Cardio, skipping rope what ever it takes. You supply the effort we will supply the bucket at the finish line.
We have about 120 positions left for the August class, with UCWE and Police Entrance exam result starting to filter through. This class will be filled. If you are close to finishing the recruitment process you will be going down on the 19/8/18. Good Luck, train hard!!!!!

Staff from the NSW Police Recruitment Branch will be taking fingerprints at Police Headquarters (1 Charles Street, Parramatta) on Friday 3rd August, Thursday 9th of August and Monday 13th of August between 8am and 4pm.
... To be eligible to register you MUST have a current Police application in process and you must contact the Recruitment Branch on 1800 222 122 and speak with either S/Csts Brad McClifty or Michael Paull to register. If you have not registered we will be unable to take your prints so please do NOT turn up if you haven't registered. Those UCWE students who have or are due to submit their on-line Police applications, remember to do this ASAP and you will also be eligible to attend this day and have your prints taken.

Well the July class is in and currently freezing numerous body parts off on the parade ground and no doubt enjoying some delightful early morning PT in the lovely, yet slightly artic Goulburn winter. (Ok that’s not really them below….but it could be)
Now for the August class which starts in 4 Weeks!!!! To date we have made about 76 offers to this class and will be making about 180 more over the next 4 weeks. If you want to make the August class you need to get your certific...ates completed, book your medical and Police entrance exam ASAP.
If you book the Police entrance exam now and god forbid something goes wrong it should just allow you another go before the August class starts.
We are processing about 480 applications at the moment, don’t be left behind, get all of your requirements completed to book an August spot. As always we are here to help and answer questions that you.

3 DAYS TO GO!!!
So here we are with about 24 offers to be sent out to fill the class, interestingly we find ourselves in a unique position. We have some applicants who have passed all of the recruitment requirements but have not lodged their ADPP application, we are assuming because they are holding out for the August Class.
If there is one thing I have learnt in 30 odd years of policing is that things or circumstances change.....rapidly. What is available today might not be ...tomorrow or might be in a smaller size.......
We strongly (hint hint) suggest that if you have finished the recruitment process but have yet to submit your ADPP application you get it in ASAP and secure your spot.
We will be processing the final applications today and tomorrow. If you have made or will make the July class and need a few extra days to tie up loose ends before class starts contact the Academy and they can be flexible.
If you are almost through the recruitment process and want the July class contact your case manager and let them know and they may be able to prioritise your applications.

8 days to go!!!!
Recruitment Branch and Academy staff are working through the weekend to fill the last 60 spots for the July class. The final PCT & Psych tests are tomorrow (good luck). You will know tomorrow if you passed the Pct and the Psych results will be back Thursday. All UCWE and Police entrance exam results have been entered and the Academy will be making offers up to the begging of class.
When you get your offer make sure you get your ADPP application back to them ...ASAP so you dont get pipped at the post by another applicant.
This last week gets very competitive so get your final certificates in, push yourself at the PCT, never quit, never surrender and you could be freezing your way into the Academy this time next weekend.

Recruitment update.
Well it’s exciting times, July 15th is approaching quickly and we still have about 100 available positions, we are madly finishing off a number of applications with the recent police entrance exam and UCWE results being loaded into the system first thing tomorrow. If you have almost completed the process contact your case manager in the office (1800222122) and let them know you would like the July class. You could be starting at the Police Academy in just ...12 days time!!!!
Four weeks later we have the August class starting, but we are all about filling the July class for now.
Don’t forget, Wednesday (tomorrow) 4/7/18 we will be running another fingerprints day at Police headquarters, if you are coming along please be on time, if you want to come along give the office a call first thing in the morning and see if there are any vacancies or cancellations.
