Its August! Another windy day. Another load of leaves in my gutters to clear out. Sigh.
Where do the leaves gather in your yard during windy days? These are spots where you will find embers gathering during a bushfire.
With the Hazard Reduction at Albion Park Rail yesterday our Community Safety Team were out and about in Cedar Street offering information and guidance to residents. Great work.

The Illawarra's fire danger rating today is very high.
These kinds of ratings are not usual for this time of year.
Please call 000 immediately if you see any signs of fire activity without a fire truck and personnel close by.
