The NSW State Emergency Service (SES) is an emergency & rescue service dedicated to assisting the community in times of natural & man-made disasters. The NSW SES is made up almost entirely of volunteer members, numbering over 9, 000 as of June 2018.

Nsw Ses - Port Stephens Unit Description

Situated in the beautiful Hunter Region, we have a very friendly and dedicated crew who thoroughly enjoy protecting, and engaging with, our local communities.

Port Stephens SES is a specialist unit, who in addition to storm operations, also assist with Road Crash Rescue, Large Animal Rescue, Urban Search & Rescue, and Flood Rescue.
