Reviews
Some of the NTAC kids carved it up on Giblin yesterday on the last afternoon of the tows for the season. Our future skiers were excited to get the rare opportunity to ride the lift that has some of the best runs on the mountain and they really enjoyed the fantastic snow cover.
Well done to all of those who participated in the Junior Races over the weekend. We must also thank all of the volunteers who gave up their time to help out on the day!

WATCH OUT FOR COWS!
Cows on the loose at the turn off onto the gravel at the bottom of the mountain. Fences are down and they’re wandering.
Thanks to Ben Lomond Snow Sports for the update.
Best cover for the year and more spring skiing ahead!
Make sure to get the SPF50+ out to avoid those “goggle” tans!

NTAC hosted the legendary "The 120Ys" last weekend in what has been touted as the highest gig (in altitude) that any band has ever played in Tasmania! Thanks to Steve and the band for this impromptu gig!!
Book now as the weekend is starting to look awesome.

Over the past 18 months, the Northern Tasmanian Alpine Club applied for some grants to upgrade our hot water and heating to the lodge and specifically the main wing.
NTAC secured funding through the Tasmanian Community Fund as well as the Community Infrastructure Fund (Department of State Growth) to upgrade our ageing infrastructure. We now have a state of the art holistic hot water and hydronic solution that is robust in our harsh alpine environment.
We are happy to announc...e that our project is complete and members and guests have reported that the new upgrades are brilliant!!
We must thank NTAC members Brett McIntyre and Scott Headlam who spent numerous hours on this project - from conception to sign off! Additionally, we would like to thank our hydronics and plumbing team, led by Grant Holloway, whose expertise and workmanship was greatly appreciated.
