The Oakes Foundation is a fundraising organization for a very small group of people who suffer a recently discovered genetic defect. So far only three families in the world have been confirmed to carry this gene. Some for three generations. Scientists and researchers have discovered that this defect gene is most likely treatable. We intend to expedite this research as its revolutionary and start of a complete new industry whereby a patients genetic disease is treated and corrected with carrier cells grown from there very own tissue samples.
