The location of this resort is what sells it, right on the waterfront and just a short walk away from heaps of shops and things to do. Fairly clean, if a little dated, and access to a good pool and spa. However if you pay for an Ocean View room, make sure you get it! Our first impression was low after being booked into the wrong room and having to move. But worth it for the view and location.

It's alright. The location is perfect! Everything is walking distance or a short drive. However...

The ocean view room we first got given was NOT ocean view, but staff did fix this up for us quickly and painlessly.

I found the price to be fair, however the rooms are in serious need of an update. The carpet was old and covered in stains. The styling was also very old, and everything had a well used look and feel, like the bath tap half dislodged from the tiles exposing rust and piping. The lifts and corridors had that really musky damp smell with an overpowering lemon cleaning agent smell to try and cover it.

The view from the ocean room was great once we were moved from one overlooking a rusty old building. The car park is probably worth the $15 a night if you're worried about your car in the public carpark. However with an AWD vehicle like mine with a poor turning circle, the ramps to go up and down levels are a challenge!

The swimming pool for those interested was quite impressive, warm and clean 👍And although I didn't go in the gym (Why would you on holiday?), It seemed pretty good fr the outside!

All in all, it was again... Alright. I wouldn't recommend it strongly to someone, but wouldn't expect your experience to be bad if you're fairly easygoing. If I were to visit the entrance again, putting the fabulous view and location aside, I would personally look elsewhere.

Nice & clean facility although comes with lots of hidden costs. Internet, room service/cleaning & parking are all extra. Free council secure parking across the road can save you a bundle. If you want location, this is the best on The Entrance. Water views from most rooms.

Everything was great until we got charged a lot of money because we didn’t make the bed and wash all the dishes. Honestly what resort makes YOU make the beds. Completely ruinied my holiday not planing on coming back and will NOT give a good review sorry

The accommodation had good facilities. Unfortunately, the pool was so full of children we could barely get into it... Not very relaxing and quite disappointing. Otherwise, friendly staff and would maybe be nice out of season.

Stayed in a studio room with my kids. It was very hard to locate the hotel as address on website is different so had to call the hotel to get correct address. Upon arriving, adjacent car park was packed, so after driving in car park up and down for more than 40 min, then another 20 minutes to park in the 5 min parking, I had to leave my kids in a 5 min bay at the back of the hotel, while I waited more than half an hr for check-in as adjacent free parking was full and I couldn't access the hotel parking which was $15 per night, until I checked-in which was terribly inconvenient especially with kids. The hotel is very outdated, fridge door wouldn't close, toilet flush not working and blankets just disgusting. Room had one bed and lounge but one has to pay $44 to open the lounge into a bed. There's a $75 bond upon arrival and one has to pay $2 per extra towel you need and you have to throw out your own rubbish upon leaving. Otherwise, location was great and close to everything and girls at front desk were very friendly.

Is aging but centrally located. Rooms large with some great views. Receptionist needs to polish her creating and sound like a recording. The welcome is very critical to the whole experience.

We stayed in an unserviced studio room; it was clean & nicely decorated. We had a kitchenette and laundry, which we didn't really need for our short stay, but would be really useful for longer trips. Great location, right near the pelican feeding, as well as shops & eateries. The staff were very friendly & helpful. There is a free public carpark just across from the resort, which was handy!

User

not bad. no room service. The place is very old. But walking distance to restaurants

User

Fantastic location. Excellent service.. great rooms and views

User

Stay was fine. Nothing was great but they had everything you'd expect from an apartment. Had 2 roaches around but otherwise fairly clean. Overall very budget and family friendly.

User

Very convenient location, however the hotel requires upgrade. Facilities are clean but bit old. Not very competitively priced for the condition of the property.
