About Oatley Football Club

Oatley FC is your local, family and friendly club in the St George district, bringing the community and football together since 1976.

Oatley Football Club Description

Oatley RSL Youth Football Club was established in Nov 1975, when a committee was formed with Ted Thornwaite as President, Bob Dines as Secretary, and Barry Finn as Treasurer.

Oatley RSL Football Club entered into the St George Association in 1976 with 8 teams competing across different ages. Since then, the club has grown at a rapid rate.

The family type environment, is comforting to parents and children, who love our beautiful game, and wish to enjoy the competitive nature of the game, played in the right spirits.

Currently Oatley RSL Football Club has over 650 players ranging from U6's to O35's. With the ever growing numbers of players joining our club, Oatley RSL now uses 2 fields:
Renown Park - our official home
The Green - located in Kyle Bay

Our club encourages females to get involved, as we work together with the St George Association to grow female football in the association.

We are a very multicultural club, and every race and religion is welcome to join our family.

As we are about to celebrate our 40th anniversary, the CLub is still looking to add to its 1 and only Premier League trophy. Currently Oatley RSL has a Premier League team in the compete ion for the 3rd year running.

As the club continues to grow, with our President Peter Jones in charge, the club is heading in the right direction to become one of the largest clubs in the St George District.
