We love this place. A hidden Gem the meals are reasonably priced and the Menu is varied and above all delicious.

Handy little pub. Good to watch fights with a bit of a bite.

The OB is a local landmark, very popular with the locals. The bistro is a little overpriced for what you get.

Quiet atmosphere, friendly and efficient service. Mondays surf and turf $12 always good and excellent nachos for $14.

Nice lunches at reasonable prices, with discount for seniors or aged pensioners.

We hired out a room for my 21st birthday party here. Leading up to the big day, the OB Hotel were lovely about helping coordinate things about the event and every phone call/meeting we had with the management there was nothing short of pleasant. They were extremely flexible with our requests like going as far as to help arrange transport for my friends who came from Sydney, fixing up the projector after some technical difficulties so my parents could play an embarrassing slideshow, and even bringing out the catering later than we arranged when we didn't have everyone at the venue yet.

Security were vigilant throughout the night checking only guests were entering the room and checking every young person's ID (including mine haha) and the bar staff were extremely pleasant and quick to serve several people at a time.

Everything from cost, to customer service was done at the highest standard by this venue. I would happily recommend this place to anyone looking to have a birthday party/function/celebration. All expectations were exceeded beyond anything I could've ever imagined. Truly made my party the best day of my life.

Cos wheres all the hot bar staff and fridays bikini waitresses 😎 that would bring younger people plus make it lot less old like

Worst lunch. I got the $12 rump and vegies and the rump was tiny (prob just over 100g), overcooked (despite asking for med/rare) and the vegies were about 10 beans and a few slices of tasteless carrot that must have been sitting in water for days.

Nice setting looking out over Shellharbour beach. Nice atmosphere and decent food.

Actually its very good. The food was great and the young staff are teally friendly and helpful. Unlike the older lady with the blonde hair. Very unsociable and actually a rude lady. No people skills at all.

I had a risotto. Their vegetarian options are limited. In this community some people think an egg is vegetarian. It is going through a growth phase. Watch out for the Merlot, smooth in taste in her appearance, but she will burn you with her wit and tongue sharper than yours should a comment be fueled with jealousy. Fortunately, she didn't have to break open the turquoise blue bottle sting fire water whiskey here.

A band was setting up as I left. A sturdy type band like the Chilli Peppers or even Blues would do well here for a small gig.

The regular patrons reminded me of the people in David Bowie's "Let's Dance" film clip.

I would go back for a meal. A mid range restaurant. $20-$30 a meal. A good place for families too.

The food was good. Been here several times been good service in the past. Today was different. We had to get our own cutlery salt. The girl who took our order at the till was very rude to myself and my partner who is deaf and wears hearing aids but can talk clearly enough to understand. They had salt in little open dishes not hygenic at all. Who knows who's fingers have been in these dishes. The red hair girl was the only decent and very lovely staff member today. Have never had this problem before.

Lovely place. The food is fantastic here! (Though a little on the expensive side) The staff are kind and helpful and add to the laid back atmosphere that comes with the south coast. On a sunny day I'd rather be here than in Sydney hands down. She just needs a bit of a facelift these days.

Wonderfull service Grace/Clare was great. My partner and I had dinner here on the 6th of May 2017. Food was good as always but the service by Grace who looked after our section in the restaurant was top class. My partner really wanted mustard with his steak and despite his best attempts couldn't get any until Grace came to his rescue completing his meal. Couldn't speak more highly of this attentive employee .

Veiw was amazing. Food was ok. People smoking in nonsmoking food area and staff were oblivious.

Was grossly disappointed had food there several times one time with my missus and the 3 kids that was really good actually the kids enjoyed their meal and so did my message concerning it was our engagement 12 year or something or other whoops hope that doesn't get me in the soup soup again so it doesn't matter now gave mantova marriage is gone so is our lives and so was the meal I got from them next time got a chicken caesar chicken was dry crusty and well and truly over cooked I asked for the chef to re cook it please I said the Seas it was perfect except for the chicken so is it possible that they could cook the chicken again and not so dry guess not I got a dried chicken again crappy chicken Caesar how hard is it to throw some ready made sauce if they've already made I didn't even make it themselves culminated with those small ingredients that comes with it and then throw a freshly cooked piece of chicken on really is it that hard as a chef I know that truly is not and yes I am gross too disappointed it was very very pricey for what you got the service is reasonably very good set for the food quality obviously couldn't tell you what that would be like other than that great venue has lots of love lots of music that plays All Night Long lived across the street and that sucked the venue didn't push people on and they have pushed things through my windows unfortunately no I'm renting so I guess it doesn't matter no it did stop my kids from staying at my house occasionally no question when they had special things on at school cause a loud noise would go on sometimes until 2 or 3 o'clock in the morning my god really Friday Saturday Thursday night it's a killer thank god I'm moving soon I hope someone moves in this house it's good party house so it's falling around our heads

Views great, service is good. Food is good. Wife had a perfectly cooked steak. Perfectly seasoned. Salt n pepper calamari was perfectly cooked.
