!!! NSW STATE NOMINATION 2018/19 UPDATE!!!
NSW Finally updated its news about the 2018/19 Year Migration Program. Most of the information for subclass 190 are similar and it is a good news to prospective migrants.
Remember the change in points requirement from DHA as it might effect your eligibility. Applicants now need 60 independent points (60+5) to be able to lodge EOI under state nomination for subclass 190 and 55 independent points (55+10) under subclass 489.
... Big news is more regions are getting approval to invite migrants in NSW under 489 category.
Central west looks to have opened doors for 489 applicants and more information will be provided on 20th August. There might be good news for Accountants. Also, in this list, Orana is also seen to be providing invitation to Accountants but the list available in RDA ORANA website (updated 2nd July 2018) still doesnot have Accountants in it. But there might be good news coming.
Lets hope for good results this year.

ACT 190 Nomination Update
EFFECTIVE 4:00PM AEST FRIDAY 29 JUNE 2018: Canberra residents: • You are eligible to apply for ACT 190 nomination if your nominated occupation is listed as ‘open’ on the current ACT Occupation List.... • You are not eligible to apply for ACT 190 nomination if your nominated occupation is listed as ‘closed ‘on the current ACT Occupation List. Overseas residents: • The ACT 190 nomination program remains closed for overseas applicants without close ties to Canberra and is now closed to overseas applicants with close ties to Canberra
As per the information provided by the Skills Canberra, the closure is due to the significant increase in demand of ACT 190 nomination and they are currently investigating the options to fairly manage the increased demand for ACT 190 Nomination.
