Officeworks Glebe

I recently made a purchase at Officeworks Glebe and initially over the phone they confirmed that the goods are in stock but upon my arrival they weren’t. I drove for over 30 mins to find out that they made a mistake and no Officeworks store in Sydney Metro had any stock of it. It was frustrating and disappointing, but, soon enough the managers got involved and were empathetic with my situation. They apologised and offered a solution and the very next day I was able to pick my purchase up from my local store at Bondi.
Glenn sorted it all out for me and took ownership to resolve the issue. Thanks to Glenn and his team to turn around a bad experience into a impressive one. I’ll be back for more.

Never returning! Major lack of service!

AND by the time we found someone. What we wanted had gone up by $150 when asked about the price change we were told thats what you have to pay now...... Cheers

Seriously sort out your printing staff. I usually go in at the most quite times and whilst I can see 8 staff only one can help. I wouldn't even call it help. I am treated like an absolute burden after waiting for 20 minutes with someone in front of me. I am more than happy to use self service as the service I get from those machines is better than the staff. Having someone greeting you at the door and having facepaint doesn't create return customers, having polite staff that know what they are doing and are capable of helping out on the mostly unused registers when it is busy do.

Office works has loads of things, but it's expensive. But it's quick & easy to find essentials. But their printing services is real good though. Photos only average, I find.

The worst officeworks? Of course not. It's not literally on fire, or actively hurting puppies, so it's got a few things going for it. As the only customer in the store, I was impressed that one of the 8 idle staff members was able to, after a long wait, tell me that I can't email my documents to the printer. Fortunately I didn't believe her and asked someone else. After abandoning the human help, I said my prayers for mankind and asked the print robot for help, which was marginally more useful.

Also they had no bags. Literally none.

Acknowledged by the staff, offered assistance when required. Would happily return to shop again.

Bad service. Long paying waits (and seriously: who wants to wait to pay???): yet there's someone saying "hello " to everyone who walks in...wanna man a register??? 3 put of 4 without a cashier... No stock either . Apparently, when your item isn't avaiable (like most) whilst standing in store you can visit their website and have the product ordered into store: delivered free!!! Well fancy that (sarcasm oozing from my pores). Thanks for the tip.. I'll order on line from another company from now on and have it delivered to my work! Never going back.

It had been a crappy day, and all I wanted to do was pick-up my filing cabinet (which had already arrived 8 weeks after it was promised), and wheel it home on a delivery trolley. Nothing was working out as planned, but Store Manager, Sharad, saw my distress, and came to my rescue by placing the cabinet in his hatchback and kindly delivering it to my door. He and his staff went above and beyond to turn my day around, and restore my faith in Aussie retail service.

Officeworks, Glebe, have helped our small company when we needed some administration computers. We were able to sort out an excellent price and when there were some deviations from that on sale day they were so quick to help us get a refund. Nothing but excellence from this store, highly recommended!

Printing staff were incredibly slow, as most reviews have already addressed. A lot of my line weights did not print properly and I asked her why this was. She said it had something to do with my file and my pdf, when I in fact have never had this issue with any other print shop before. I later went to another print shop and it came out perfectly. Exact same files and line weights.

Would not recommend going here for printing. There are plenty of print shops in the area that produce better quality images. It was my mistake for not taking the advice of previous reviews.

never pick up their phones. never have things in stock. rude customer service. print and copy is useless. They always tell you they're booked out, but they're lying. Avoid this officeworks at all costs, go to the one in the city. Much better service.

The print and scan staff are lackadaisical. sometimes they ask you to pick up your printing/scanning the next day because they are "too busy". Officeworks at Five Dock is better. Points for the more functional store layout though.

Store representative refused to provide any compensation for a price drop after a few days of purchasing something despite the online customer representative saying otherwise. They also said I can take my business elsewhere if I don't like it.

I can see how they " are constantly trying to bring our valued customers the lowest possible prices everyday our prices can change daily ".

Go here if you are strictly looking to get something done.

I needed a new toner cartridge for my photocopier which was relatively new.
The shelves were full of toners but my Brothers handbook did not
specify the cartridge number. A delightful young man from the service department did searches for me, took me to a similar machine to mine and instructed me on how to replace the old cartridge for the new.
This indeed was SERVICE.
