Ohana is a company founded by ocean athletes, for ocean athletes. 
The name ‘Ohana' is Hawaiian meaning family, it extends further to mean that no-one should be left behind or forgotten. Like the Hawaiians, Ohana has a strong connection and deep respect for the sea. Ohana Ocean Athletics was founded by people who surf, whose very existence and those they strive to save, relies on performing at the highest levels in some of the toughest conditions on earth. At Ohana we take surf, surf sports and surf performance seriously. The culture and the lifestyle of surf sports, surf life saving and competitive swimming are never far from our heart. Ohana is dedicated to designing and producing technologically advanced garments that allow athletes to consistently perform at their peak. Rest assured that anything that wears the Ohana brand is as good looking and long lasting as it is well made.

ONE VISION, OUR PURPOSE: Ohana was established in 2010 by Managing Director and Co-Founder Kim Richardson, drawing on twenty five (25) years experience working in the upper echelons of the Australian surf and fashion industry and on the international stage through her roles as Creative Director for Pleasure State, Bendon and Bras N Things and iconic Australian swimwear brand Aztec Rose. Since its humble beginnings with clear ambitions ‘to provide technically advanced performance clothing to athletes with a strong fashion edge', Ohana has developed into an energetic brand with a strong following that continues to grow. Ohana are proud to have partnered and sponsored the ‘Ohana Surf Classic' Series, the 'NSW State Junior Surfing Titles'​, the 'Nutri-Grain Ironman /Ironwoman Finals Series'​ and the 'Sydney Ironwoman Invitational'​.
