Oils With Nic

One for the handbag - northern hemisphere friends having the most amazing summer ... but a few bugs to keep at bay. Use this for my youngest as Mozzies find her such a tasty treat.. works fabulously! N x

As some of you know from my previous posts excema is not my friend.. new blend to try out - just a few drops of each in a 10ml roller and topped with carrier oil (I have used doTERRA fractionated coconut oil). Love these 10ml rollers to pop in my handbag.. and my oils go so much further.x

BERGAMOT - Still my favourite (apart from Frank) and the oil I go back to - diffuse and also wear as my perfumex ...Bergamot cleanses and generates movement in the energy system and offers courage allowing you to love yourself unconditionally x

MYTH BUSTER:
Oil users often go for the soles of the feet when applying oils, but most don't fully understand why this practice can be beneficial.
... It's commonly said, that the feet have more pores or have bigger pores and the essential oils are absorbed better because of the quantity or size of the skin's pores on the soles of the feet.
While it is true that the feet absorb the oils very well, it has nothing to do with how many pores you have or how large they are. The pores on the soles of your feet and those on the palms of your hands do not contain sebaceous glands. In other areas of your body, these glands secrete an oil called sebum which acts a a barrier.
Essential oils will absorb into any part of your skin, but they absorb more fully where sebum is not present. Because of this, the soles of your feet are an excellent place to apply your oils!
