Oliver'S Real Food - Gundagai

Recommended for travelers between Melb and Canberra. Great staff, the guy with the beard and cool hair had 100/10 customer service. Quick wait, excellent healthy and vegan option food. Clean facilities. Not my favourite foods, but the best options available on the road unless you bring your own or pack things from the city. Really grateful.

I got the golden rice nuggets, burrito pocket and curry vegetable korma. I didn't really like the burrito pocket or vegetable korma that much, but that was due to personal taste mostly. They nuggets were superb.

Unclear where the actual dog on the tucker box is though.

They were closed on the way home, unfortunately :'(

Deliciously healthy snacks and food in a spacious restaurant. A good place to break your journey between Sydney and Melbourne.

I had high expectations for this place when I heard about the concept. Health, organic food available from roadside outlets is hugely in demand. Unfortunately the execution of this business is not so fantastic. Whilst the ingredients maybe good, the food itself is quite expensive and very average roadside in terms of taste and selection. Could be awesome, sadly isn't.

Tasty healthier food and good coffee. Would have liked to see a recycling bin as well as the general waste bin. Toilets were not great

Accommodation is a genuine 1950s experience with original interior which i quite like. A broken louver in the bathroom and the heater not working made the room a tad cool. A hot shower would have fixed that, and did, when the hot water finally came. When it got too hot i went for the cold, but was shocked as there was no water. Not a drop. The room is worth a quarter of a star. The bed and pillows were good and the staff and patrons were probably a 4 or 5 giving a grand total of 2. If the water and heater were ok, it would have got a 3 and been quite reasonable for $66 a night. I do like the pub. Nice beer and entertainment

Pita pockets are tasty but you feel ripped off with the size. When you take the pita pocket out of the packaging it feels like they cut it in half and chucked only one half inside the bag. Charged $10 for that! Coffee burnt tongue after 5 mins of waiting for it to cool down. The company slogan should be 'small food portions and burnt coffee'. Instead of 'Real Food, Real Coffee'

Chicken wrap tasted awesome. Could of been a bit bigger. Great healthy option though as opposed to all the other unhealthy foods along the highway.

Excellent healthy food and friendly staff.
Spacious and cool main room with lots of light; a welcome oasis on the desolate Hume Fwy.

Fresh fruit also available.
An excellent place to refresh on a long drive.

Terrible food and service!
The hot pocket came out half cooked and looked nothing like the others that came out at the same time.

When i politely asked for a different one, the older lady was extremely rude.
The replaced hot pocket was bland and she said they had run out of the sauce that comes complimentary with it.

First time i've ever written a 'restaurant' review.
I hope the owner's take the time to read this and improve their offering.
