On Shore Cafe Brasserie

Called on Thursday to book a table for Sunday morning breakfast for 13ppl, was told everyone has to be exactly on time, cant be 5minutes late, advised i live 100mtrs away so that wont happen, continued to receive a full lecture and more about the time, sunday is too busy to turn up late, ppl pay money to get a table & if you are all late that wont happen, someone needs to turn up at least 10mins early & wait for the other guests etc etc the guy i spoke too was extremely rude, horrible, condescending and unprofessional and just lost out on 13ppl for breakfast who would have definitely been on time! He was to say the least an absolute jerk .. whoever the boss is that staff member should sacked he just cost you a few hundred $$$

The owner of Onshore is always very friendly and the place is very kid friendly. The area out the back is typically reserved for young families and has toys available to keep kids entertained. Lovely views of the ocean and wide selection on the menu.

Rudest treatment I have ever had at a restaurant. I understand the menu said no subs, however, I did ask about organising a vegan big breakfast and was told of course! To get equivalent in extras to a big breakfast with 8 items it was going to cost 32 dollars instead of the 17.90 if you eat meat. When I tried to ask about it, the wait staff were extremely rude and sniggered and made fun of me. As I went to pay for the coffees as we decided not to have breakfast there. The owner (or manager) was extremely rude and condescending, shut Down the conversation and proceeded to engage other patrons in patronising me. The person paying in front of me just told the owner that they had lost them as constomers as well. I don't know why but assuming it is the attitudes of staff.

Terrible service. Disgusting attitude towards my vegan friend. The big breakfast (meat) was $17.90 for 8 items. She asked to swap a few meaty items for CHEAPER vegetarian options. We saw that the menu said no substitutions...which is fair. But to get the same 8 vegan items was going to cost $32.50!!!! We raised this and were humiliated and told by the owner that he would not discuss this any more. We went to leave...and i caught 2 waiting staff sniggering about us..

Vegan customers will increase in the future...and they'll be left behind.

Also...the customers that went up to the owner just before us were ALSO complaining.

Family friendly food and service.

Have dined here quite a few times since the beginning of 2017 and lots of times before that. Great variety of food and terrific friendly service. The owner is visible and friendly without being over the top. They offered a birthday voucher andit was worthwhile to use it. Will be returning in the not too distant future. Tina
