About On The Stone
On the Stone Books is an independent publishing house that specialises in social histories. On The Stone Retreat, located in the Killongbutta river valley is available for authors, artists and their families to book.
On The Stone Description
As storytellers, we support the cultural initiatives and artworks that are being generated by remote Indigenous communities through their community-owned art centres and social enterprises.
This work, inspired and driven by their elders and community artists, is preserving their cultural identity and the importance of their homelands for their spiritual and emotional well being.
