One Door Sunflower House Wagga

Sunflower House is on The Esplanade in Wagga Wagga. It’s a place you can go to meet other people with lived experience of mental illness, take part in activities and find the help you need on your mental health journey.

Sunflower House is run like a clubhouse. This means that the staff and members manage it together and work side-by-side as colleagues doing administration work, running a kitchen and preparing meals (available at a small cost each day), maintaining the surrounds of the building, tending the vegetable garden and cleaning duties as well as doing volunteer work at Bunnings Warehouse and working on a number of programs based at Sunflower House.

Members also run an outreach program that provides support and inclusion for people who are in hospital or having birthdays or who haven’t been to Sunflower House in a while.

Sunflower House is run by One Door Mental Health and offers respect and opportunity to its members.
