Hi everyone. Triple C craft is on at Orana House now. Every Monday. Any craft you like. Come and have a chat and a cuppa. Learn to knit or crochet. Show us something you've made. Gold coin donation at the door and bring lunch if you want to stay longer. We close doors at 2:30 pm

We have mosaics at Orana this Tuesday coming. Time starts 10 am and finishes 3pm. Tea and coffee are provided.

Boomerang Bags Workshop hosted by Bev from the CWA was a huge success on Sunday. A great way to be rid of plastic bags for good! There may be more workshops in the future. Be sure to keep your eye out for a Boomerang Bag wandering around town.

‘Boomerang Bag’ up–to-date:
The ‘Boomerang Bag’ project with the CWA scheduled for this coming Sunday 1st July will now be held at Orana House from 10am to 1pm.
What to expect? All materials will be provided, you can bring along some lunch/morning tea for yourself or to share if you wish.
... Bev Taylor will run the Workshop showing and explaining the different stages and activities that goes into making a bag. You can participate as part of a team, eg doing different tasks, ironing, sewing, etc or you can concentrate on making your own bag. Alternatively you can observe and make your own bag in your own time at home.
Whatever level of involvement the day will be fun, interesting and a great project to be involved in. If you wish, a small donation on the day to take home a bag will be welcomed.
No other items are necessary to take on Sunday.

Just a reminder that the 2018 Daroo Awards are coming to a close. If you would like to vote for the Canowindra Creative Centre Inc you will need to get your form in asap.
You can elect any appropriate section you wish to enter the CCC in. The ones I’d recommend are 11. Contribution to Cabonne; 15. Business Fostering Disability Inclusion.
... You can choose up to 3 categories for each nominated business. We were in the running as a Finalist last year, let’s see if we can be persistent or even be recognised further.

Any one that uses Orana House and the facilities for groups, meetings etc can post on here for days and times to let people know what's happening.

I hope you all had a great day today. Mosaic is on tomorrow (12th june) at Orana House from 10am to 3pm. See you all there. All new people are welcome but don't forget your lunch. Its hungry work!
