Oriel Entertainment Group Description
Oriel Group is a production house for Theatre and Film. Established in 2014, Oriel Group was created by director Elise McCann to facilitate opportunities for Australian artists and creatives in bringing to life their passion projects.
Elise was a co-creator in association with Luckiest Productions on Everybody Loves Lucy, which ran sell out seasons in Sydney, Melbourne & Adelaide in 2014. After which it boasted a National Tour throughout 2015 for which Elise received a Sydney Theatre Nomination for Best Cabaret.
The critically acclaimed one man play I Am My Own Wife, directed by Shaun Rennie and starring theatre and television star Ben Gerrard, was the first solo venture for Oriel Entertainment Group. I Am My Own Wife ran a sell out season at the Old Fitz Theatre in Sydney in November /December of 2015 and in Melbourne throughout January and February 2017 as part of the 2017 Midsumma Festival. IAMOW is running a strictly limited season at the Brisbane Powerhouse in QLD from April 4th 2017.
Oriel is proud to announce its next exciting venture - CARMEN, Live or Dead to preview in Melbourne from 25th April 2017 at The Butterfly Club Melbourne. Carmen, Live or Dead stars theatre and cabaret star Natalie Gamsu, written by New York Writer Craig Harwood and featuring Original Music by iOTA & Max Lambert.
