Update time! Phew, it's been a super busy month for us here at the Owners Collective so we thought it was time for a little recap.
Over the past month we've: + Put 2200 budding business owners and entrepreneurs through our Launching Legends program + Finished up another amazing round of our 6 month High-End Hustlers program... + Collected our new tribe of High-End Hustlers who will be completing the program over the next 6 months + Delivered a kick-ass training modules on all things Pinterest for our Hustlers Assembly members + AND we've been setting up our brand new OC HQ space in Byron Bay! (more details to come soon!)
We're so eternally grateful for the incredible humans we have surrounding us, from those who dive into our programs and soak up new learnings, to those who so generously offer to help us out with setting up the new space.

Legends who launched | Steven Dillon, Stevie Says Social
“Launching Legends kicked off at the perfect time for me. I had just come back from holidays this time last year with an idea that maybe I wanted to start a business at some stage in the future, with no idea where to begin!
In 2017, I started the year (literally, on January 1) with a seed of an idea for a Social Media blog, which I launched in March. By June, I had people asking about my services - which, at the time, I... didn't have! I started freelancing on the side, and after enquiries started to grow significantly in July I took the leap and started my full time business in November!
The business side of things was so invaluable - money, setting up, etc. And even more than that, the confidence that it gave me being part of the Facebook group and surrounded by others doing great things to think that this idea of mine could really be a 'thing' - and much sooner than the 'someday' that I had hoped!
I took some huge learnings from the course, but the main one was to JUST START. Think smaller and act smaller (yep, do the SMALLEST thing possible - write a blog, register a domain, SOMETHING), and go from there. Accept that things won't be perfect at the start - it never is. Show up and keep going. And want it more than you're afraid of it.
In fact think about what happens if you don't take action. If you don't start now, where will you be in a week? A year? 10 years?
Without getting too deep, we only live once and often not for as long as we'd like. If we don't at least give our wildest dream a red hot crack, what's the point?”

+ What has been your biggest learning since being in business? “That I'm not good at Maths. LOLJK. #notjoking. I think the biggest learning for me since being in business is that you're going to have doubters. 100%. A lot of them. Strangers, people who you used to work with, relatives, friends, and the hardest ones? Your close friends and immediate family. When this happens, you have to really remember why you started. Because it won't always be rainbows and unicorns, and at the end of the day, as long as you have the grit, the determination and strive? Even if you get pushed down, even if things are not yet going the way you want it to go... It's OK because you will try again, and again, and again and you will use each challenge as a learning and be able to use the feelings of doubt to fuel yourself to do things even better.”
+ Do you have some advice to anyone just starting out in business, or who has an idea? “Surround yourself with the right energy and the right people. (Ahem, Launching Legends and Hustlers Assembly Group) Because that can either fuel you or completely drain you. And just start! Because tomorrow you said yesterday, right?”

Call it your sixth sense, a gut feeling or even just a ‘knowing’ - intuition is a powerful tool in business and everyday life. It can give you a ‘hells yes’ or an inkling, a niggle, a feeling of a ‘no’. Be sure to listen to both. Your intuition will ALWAYS give you a more accurate reading than any cashflow forecast or business plan 👌🏼

Today is international Yoga day, and we're stoked because that means more peeps being introduced to a great thing. We operate in a pretty hectic world, and in becoming business builders and owners we've chosen a path that naturally comes with a lot of pressure and stress. Setting aside time to intentionally unwind, de-stress, and to connect with ourselves is so important for our health and for the health of our businesses. So today, get your down-dog on and try some yoga peeps.

Courage is a superpower, available to all of us, all of the time.

Start tonight. Write your list to do. Then prioritise it. Put it on your desk ready to go first thing in the morning and DON’T open any social media or emails until at least the first thing is crossed off the list. It’s all about being proactive instead of reactive. And guess what? You’re already winning!
