Today our National Food Rescue Partner Woolworths launched their incredible fundraising campaign, aiming to raise a massive $1.5 million to deliver three million meals to Aussies in need. Until 24th December, you can purchase an OzHarvest food token for 50c that will allow us to deliver a meal to someone in need. Did you know that it takes 50 litres of water to produce just one orange? Throwing away food wastes the resources that went into producing it. Not sure what to do with your oranges? Squeeze them and freeze the juice in ice cube trays for a refreshing kick (pop them in a glass of the water that you saved by not wasting your oranges!). üçä

"Mossman Youth Centre is a place young people from 9 t...o 21 years old to come, chill out and get support. Our budget is very little, even though more kids are accessing the service. We have a great need for food, but our remote location means food delivery from Cairns is often not an option.
Many of our clients couch surf and roam the streets after school and late into the night without eating, so having a reliable source of food for our centre would make the world of difference for these young people.”
