PAE provides worldwide container shipping service. We specialise in direct service from Darwin and Townsville to Asia and vice versa, cutting down the transit time for our clients.
Through our advanced IT technology we are able to provide our clients ease and convenience in container booking and tracking. Our compact size and friendly, professional staff allows us to treat each customer with a personal touch that larger companies cannot offer.

Our principle, Mariana Express Line (MELL), is a Singaporean based container liner operator founded in 1997.
Starting with only two vessels plying the route of Hong Kong, Guam, Saipan and Taiwan, the Company has grown her network extensively over the years. We now service over 75 ports in 24 countries mainly focus in Niche routes in the Asia Pacific, helping many of our clients expand their business in the region.
Since 2009, we’ve extended our North Asia containerised shipping service to include a direct call into Darwin and Townsville, offering our customers more reliability and regularity in our service and have since further extended to Port Moresby (Motukea port) followed by Dili in year 2012.
MELL is committed to offer customers a schedule integrity that differentiates her from the competitors as we strive to help our clients achieve better inventory management and minimise the risk of cargo delay.

Mariana Express Lines is the first container line to utilize the newly updated Port of Townsville Berth 4
MELL vessel Kota Naga has been the first container vessel to discharge cargo at Townsville berth 4, since the 40 million
dollar upgrade earlier this year.
... Vessel operations were completed using two mobile harbour cranes simultaneously which would not have
been achievable with previous operations at berth 3.
With the ability to utilize both berth 3 and 4 we are now in a position to continue our schedule integrity ensuring the
expected levels of service to our clients are maintained. We also expect to see significant productivity improvements
as our stevedore NSS become familiar with dual crane and dual gang operations on each vessel.
More than 65,000 container movements have been recorded through the Port of Townsville so far this financial year and
with the ability to now work berth 4 the 60% increase on the previous financial year will be well serviced through the port.
