Welcome to Pacific Tutoring. We provide Maths and English tutoring for Primary and Secondary students including HSC students

We support learning in English and Mathematics, for Primary and High School students. Classes operate after school Monday to Friday and Saturdays. Our After School Tuition Centres are in Kenthurst and Castle Hill.

Primary Students

Mathematics

The new updated Australian Curriculum is taught in our Centres. Students in primary school are tutored in the most important learning areas in maths including problem solving and working mathematically. Many students find this challenging, but with our help they learn strategies to achieve the right answers, every time.

English

Our students work towards excelling in story-writing, where they expand their sentences, using more descriptive words,

editing & organising the sequence of their stories. Comprehension is addressed by looking at literal questions and inferential questions.

Spelling rules are important to learn and practise; and along with regular reading aloud.



High School Students

High school students learn mathematics topics and revise for exams. We care about every individual student’s progress. If there is any area of the curriculum a student does not understand, we teach them and revise until they are fully able to answer all questions in that topic. With consistent tuition classes and regular tutoring homework, student will improve their test scores and gain the skills needed to improve their class position, at school.

English students work to improve essay-writing skills and develop their assignment and exam techniques. Effective tuition at our Centres is achieved with consistent attendance and performance in classes, as well as following our homework regime. Our tutors provide valuable feedback to students as a tool they can use to improve their skills and techniques, in English.
