With the warmer weather coming we've decided to put a few salads on special. We have:
TROPICAL PRAWN SALAD coconut crumbed prawns with a mango, avocado and toasted coconut salad, drizzled with our new home made summer dressing.

Carree and I have just counted all the money that was collected today and it came to $1,401.10. Not a bad effort considering it's the first time we've done this. It may not stop the drought but I'm sure it will help the farmers in some small way. Thank you to all the businesses that donated prizes. I'd ask that everyone supports them wherever they can as without them we couldn't have done this. Also to everyone that bought tickets etc, it is very much appreciated. To all our staff, thank you very much for your hard work today and for your help with this. You're the best. We love you guys n gals. Till next time.

We have just drawn our major prizes which are 2 x $200 vouchers from Classic Tattoo in Shellharbour Village and a $100 voucher from Laser Pro Tattoo Removal. We are all looking forward to Farmers Day tomorrow. Below are the details of the charity we will be giving your donations to. The farmers are from the Tamworth area which is being severely affected by the drought. We picked this charity because 100% of the money will go to those that need it the most. It's Fathers Day this Sunday but we're changing it to Farmers Day. We're going to try and raise some money for our drought stricken farmers. We will be running a raffle every hour or so as well as accepting donations on the day. Yay, we've finally got our blinds done to make it more comfortable for you. No more wind and rain blowing in and with the heaters on it's nice and warm.

We had our daughter Hannahs U11 Pink girls football team, who we sponsored with their hot pink hoodies, in for breakfast this morning before their game. Wonderfully coached by Jose Demelim, they haven't lost a game in two years and have only had one goal scored against them this season. Well done girls, thanks for coming down and good luck today.

Who can resist a beautiful Lamb Shank in this weather. Slow cooked in a Red Wine and Rosemary Jus with Mashed Potato, Carrots and Broccoli. What a great way to warm up.

Our staff member Tiahna Cattanach has been learning the Barista trade and asked if we would give her a go for a full shift today. After a very busy day she stepped up and smashed it. She got lots of compliments on how good her coffee's were and she should be as proud of herself as we are of having her work here. Great job Tiahna 👍

We are now selling Turmeric Lattes $5 each, Natural or Unsweetened. Turmeric is great as a natural anti-inflammatory for your joints. Served here with Black Pepper for improved absorbtion into the body. If like me you suffer from a bit of joint pain give one a go, they certainly help me.

This week travelled from Balgownie to lunch with friends at Pacino. Enjoyed a delicious lunch, had a stroll down the beach and then returned for Vitoria coffee and home made cakes and scones. Good food and coffee, friendly and professional family service. Definitely worth the trip
