Paltar Petroleum is aiming to become a significant player in Australia’s onshore oil and gas sector, through the acquisition and exploration of both conventional and unconventional resources.

Paltar Petroleum is principally focused on exploiting its prospective acreage positions in the Beetaloo Basin, in the Northern Territory, and the western section of the Officer Basin, Western Australia.

Paltar’s large and diversified portfolio of exploration acreage also includes applications over an additional 20 million acres across 6 sedimentary basins in the Northern Territory.

Paltar is led by Chief Executive Officer Marc Bruner and Chief Geologist Ben Law, who each have a proven track record of identifying and developing large scale unconventional projects worldwide.

Marc Bruner has previously founded international oil and gas companies Pennaco Energy, Falcon Oil & Gas and Ultra Petroleum, one of the first companies to see the unconventional potential in Wyoming which is now recognised as containing the second-largest proven natural gas reserve in the U. S.
