You have probably heard the news ... we are saying goodbye to Papier D'amour and pursuing a new venture, Alice Pleasance. The good news is...everything has to goooooooo, and it's 30 percent off!

As the saying goes, as one door closes another door opens. It is with mixed emotions that Papier d’Amour and I say bye bye…to all our wonderful customers, suppliers and supporters across Australia. It has certainly been a wonderful, creative outlet and a very interesting journey with many more highs than lows.
So many little and big achievements.
... It was 12 years ago I sat on my ribbon table and was photographed for Vogue in a very expensive Gucci dress, courtesy of Tory Collison.
I have had a ribbon named after me. How many people can say that? Thank you Vandoros.
Martha Stewart made a special visit to see us and I have the photo to prove it (below)!
We have been featured in the Louis Vuitton - Sydney guide, the Luxe guide and many other prestigious publications. I flew to the South of France to fluff the bows for ‘you know who’s wedding’ (and I might have sung karaoke on the Artic P till the early hours of the morning!)
We have designed over 6,000 invitations for weddings and events.
We have puffed and fluffed thousands of tissue poms poms, tied even more puffy knots and hand lined (well Didi has) even more envelopes.
And as I say to all my girls and boys that have been crazy enough to work at Papier d’Amour, I have taught them lots and lots of life lessons... (they know who they are 😉)
It all changed the day Kylie called. Who is Kylie? Well I didn’t know either until I googled her whilst on the phone – she is the CEO of the Walt Disney Company Australia, no less. I thought one of my friends was playing a prank on me. She asked me to help her design the debut range for a new brand she wanted to bring to life called Alice Pleasance. And so it began.
18 months later here I am saying bye bye to Papier d’Amour and hello Alice Pleasance from my new company Every Other Way
Thank you, thank you, thank you! (Now my sister Beryl will have to change her plan to sprinkle my ashes over Papier d’Amour)
So, the great news is that everything has to go, even the beautiful antique work benches that you all ask about.
