Anyone who arrived by boat between August 2012 and December 2013, must lodge applications for processing by the Department of Immigration and Border Protection (DIBP) by October 1.
Any IMA who has not lodged an application to have their claim for asylum assessed by the DIBP by that date will be deemed to have forfeited any claim to protection.
