It's a delight to cycle around. Very open and kid friendly. I'd recommend the council/Western Sydney Park trust place more filtered water stations around the park.

Very good and quiet place for a relaxing outdoor day. Generally good when the sun is shining. The park is huge and good for kids to play. You can easily spend half a day at the park. Good walk along river through the park. You can find a lot of people cycling along the routes.

A big, beautiful park with the river running through it. My favourite part is the area of trees with thousands of bats sleeping. You can see them and hear them during the day even. It's a bit creepy but really awesome.

Parramatta Park is beautiful. Old Government House is fantastic for tour and high tea at restaurant.
Needs a curator though. School house upstairs is totally out of keeping with historical display of building. Room should have been servants quarters...

One of the top 3 parks in Sydney - Firstly, it is dominated by a beautiful river teaming with wildlife. It has it's very own bat colony! A wonderful riding/running/walking track that circumnavigates the park. A historic rose garden next to a delight-filled historic high tea shop. It has a riverside cafe/wedding venue and two adventure playgrounds. Plenty of parking! a grassed amphitheatre that has regular concerts! There are countless wonderful historic buildings and structures so integral to the beginnings of colonial Australia. This place has the oldest standing dairy in the nation with an actual cellar and the gorgeous government house with restaurant and shop. Don't forget to visit the historic carriage gate house , it has a meeting hall in it perched in mid-air and a coffee shop off it too. There are also plaques everywhere where you can learn about the lives of the convicts and the indigenous people who first lived here. Parramatta park was once the seat of the Governor of the colony - it's such an important place and you should not hesitate to visit!

A great city park on a UNESCO World Heritage site. Love the Governors Walk to the head of Parramatta River via the Wisteria Garden. Dog walking, kids playgrounds and good bike and scooter road on Long Avenue is free of vehicles. Great spot. The new Domain Creek playgrounds are worth a visit.

Great park, nice short and long walking trails. It's broken up by the river so there's a nice contrast. There's also BBQ facilities and a playground too.

This is an amazing open space park with lots of different areas to sit & have a picnic or for the kids to run around in. There is an extreme lack of toilets though, so be aware that unless you are in the western domain playground or the tea houses then you are VERY FAR from toilets. The toilets at the western domain playground are plentiful (once you make it there) and also have baby change facilities.
Parking at the old Parra Pool car park is $11/day but at least you don't have to worry about moving the car every 2 hours.

Nice relaxing place to walk, jog, run and cycling. Very huge landscapes to relax over weekend with family. Small lakes around with kids play areas, kids will enjoy the place. Many more options to spend your weekend.

User

Love this place, nice to chill out with the kids i think the little ones enjoy it mostly... if you know where to look there are some ducks where u can feed them well at least we do with the appropriate food. Some play areas for the kids. Its a big loop to exit the park but drive slow and appreciate the scenery and remember to be careful of the people on your left walking or cycling.

User

Nice & big park for everyone with few scenic view. BBQ, kids play area, walking & cycling tracks. Only difficult thing is whole park road is one way, once you take entry using car you have to take a round of park to get out from same gate 😃.

Went to this park for the first time to see new years eve fireworks. Huge place with lush green field. Quite and calm place to go for a morning jog

User

It is a very nice place. The environment is so good that it takes you closer to the nature. I visit the place daily.

A great haven away from the rat race. A nice spacious area to go for a stroll. A decent play area for the kids. Accessible by car, bike or on foot.
