Pass It Forward, The Australian Kindness Movement

PASS IT FORWARD is an Australian movement created with the sole intention of inspiring at least one million people to do one act of deliberate kindness they otherwise would not have done. Inspired by Catherine Ryan Hyde's best-selling book "Pay It Forward" (later made into a blockbuster movie by Helen Hunt and Kevin Spacey), our movement believes that kindness can not be paid (forward or backward), it can only be passed from one person to the next. With this in mind, we have a 'Kindness wall' were we encourage others to share the stories of how they have seen kindness being passed from one person to the next; to make use of creative tools such as kindness cards to inspire others to be kinder; and to link with other organisations who are working towards the same cause.
