The best cakes ever! And they make a cake that is ok for anyone with a peanut and / or egg allergy. Coffee is great too.

Had to get smoko for 18 people last minute they were very accomodating, and smoko was great everyone was happy.

Really nice milkshakes, reasonable prices overall a pretty good place

We went the first time and were looking to buy 2 cakes for different group parties
Asked the persons thoughts on popular party cakes
We were asked to go through the book and choose. Started doing that, he asked after 5 minutes whether we were ready. We advised we were still finalizing, have shortlisted these 3 cakes. He would have written one name on his order form. Less than 2 minutes later we approached him with our final order. He took his left hand to his head and holding it there said to us " you are giving me a headache"
For a second i could not believe what i had heard, i politely asked him " what do you mean we are giving you a headache". He replied "you dont know what cake to order". I explained to him he has different variety of cakes and we have come the 1st time so we were reading the ingredients.
Somone had referred me to that shop for the common party cake, so i continued with the order however will never visit that shop again.
What kind of shop keeper tells a customer "you are giving me a headache"

Pastry perfection has the best cakes and pastries hands down!! We have buying all our cakes from here for the past 6 years and they get better every time.
I must make special mention of the gingerbread and cinnamon layer cake it is on our Christmas table every year. It just wouldn't be Christmas without it.
The raspberry and white cholate cheese cake is exceptional I get it every year on my birthday!!
This is a gem in the suburbs and a must try!!
You will be glad you did!!

I love this place. Cakes are yummy... coffee is great too. It has good veg options as well. However it would be great if they can have more single cake pieces.

The food here is _way_ better than your average cafe.
They are an outlet for a bakery that supplies the larger hotels and restaurants in the city, so the quality is outstanding.
You'd be crazy to buy a cake from any other bakery in the area, to be honest.
As a cafe, however, it is tiny, so be prepared for a cozy experience.

Cakes are resonable, just a shame that the staff and service are rude. Don't understand why, if they are affiliated with Zest Patisserie that they don't recognise each other's loyalty cards.
