The perfect place for a getaway from it all lunch and a beer. Right on the beach looking south towards Pittwater, Broken Bay with Barrenjoey Lighthouse just around the corner. Great food and outside dining area under towering Norfolk pines with incredible Whistling Kites soaring overhead. Must go.

Was a very nice place to visit on the beach. Very nice views and a good place to go with some mates. The bar had good drinks and the staff was friendly. Would definitely recommend

Filthy place. Everything is old and falling apart. The kitchen has mould growing on the walls and many of the utensils. Bathrooms have mould over many surfaces. Dirty surfaces. Tiles chipped and uneven. Rust on every metal surface. The photos of the place for advertising must have been taken a long time ago. Very expensive to rent. Avoid

Location is right on the beach at Patonga. It's an amazing spot. The staff are really friendly. The atmosphere is relaxed. Live music sets the tone on Sundays. The food is nice and consistent. Free wifi is also available.

This place always makes my wife happy, and if she's happy, I'm happy. Seriously great food, lots of premium beers on tap, and yet to meet a staff member there who wasn't friendly and helpful. Can't wait for our next visit.

My friend had her 18th here, and it was incredible. Live band, excellent service, delicious food and the drinks were strong. Beautiful view and right next to the beach. I'll definitely be bringing my friends here for a get-together

We had visitors from England and took them for a kayak trip up Patonga creek. Afterwards we stopped off at Patonga Beach Hotel for a much needed lunch but got there too late (kitchen had closed 20 minutes earlier) so we asked where else can we get a feed. Not a problem for the manager, he said "we'll stay open for you, what would you like" We ordered a mix of seafood and chicken dishes and it was brilliant. Top marks for customer service and food quality. Thanks team Patonga Beach Hotel :)

Amazing location. Food was average as there was a lot of buy in goods, rather than made from scratch. BUT as previously mentioned... incredible location.

This hotel has some great views of the beach and ocean and it has various outside seating, including some along the veranda and an under cover marque. Inside there is a good selection of seating available, plenty of beer and wine choices and the menu is diverse enough for a pub. Food came out very quickly considering it was quite busy, and the food was very nice! Definitely worth stopping in for a cold drink or food when in the area.

Booked 2 nights in the upstairs apartment ..only stayed 1 night..the noise from the bar and live music was SO LOUD you couldn't enjoy a nice glass of wine on your balcony (not that there was any view as they have put up a large marquee to cater for functions ...hence the loud music to all hours). Trying to sleep was an absolute impossibility and just as we managed to finally fall asleep the apartment above decided to have showers at 3.00am (6 in total) we could hear the shower door open and then the water/pipes running for the duration of each shower. No sleep was had and finally we decided to admit defeat and left at dusk. Catering for functions (money grab) has totally ruined the ambience of this quaint pub which we enjoyed thoroughly a few years back. Apparently it now has new owners and I suspect another lovely, unspoiled spot will fall victim to the young very drunk loud mouths who yelled and spent the night using the 'f' word whilst we attempted to have a meal and couldn't hear ourselves speak over the loud band. It is now like a night-club ...a place to party for all the 'ockers' jumping on the ferry from Palm Beach and Avalon. To add insult to injury we were sent absolutely NOTHING as far as paper-work or communication on how to get there, checkin-checkout times, where to get the keys ..absolute silence. We were left to figure it all out ourselves. No-one greeted us for ages left standing around with our bags and finally we were asked if we were someone called Leonie...extremely bad service and warning to others DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY.

Great location for a pub. Nice way to spend a sunny afternoon. In part food had been a bit variable but seems to be making an effort to improve.

I loved the atmosphere of this place. The staff are happy and eager to help, the food was exceptional and amongst our group of diners we enjoyed tasty meals with generous portions. The Buffalo Chicken Wings for entree were so popular we ordered more before the mains arrived! I wish I could stay longer as I felt right at home drinking beers on the verandah and watching the trawlers come and go as the sun set over Brisk Bay. Magic.

Great location overlooking the beach. Very friendly staff, prompt service during the week and great food make it a very enjoyable experience. We will be back! Looks like it would get very busy on weekends.

Went for a Saturday afternoon drink with the family. Great weather makes the spot perfect on a lovely summer's day. Looked like it was getting ready for an event that night. It would get pretty busy here I'd imagine with the caravan park just around the corner...
