After some recent articles by Business News and The West Australian, I thought I would share some of the key points highlighted by Peard Finance's General Manager Paul Hamilton on the property and employment market in WA.
📈 According to 300 property professionals nationwide who were interviewed for NAB’s Residential Property survey, WA is expected to lead the country in capital growth over the next two years. 📊 The survey suggested that employment was the biggest impediment ...to buyers. 📈 75% of jobs created in WA in the last year were created in the last 3 months! 📈 WA full time employment has risen 5% since 2014 and part time work is up 8.1% for the same period. 📈 Australian Bureau of Stats reports that employment in Mining has increased for 3 consecutive quarters after bottoming out in December 2016.
