Paxtons Chatswood (Permanently Closed)

Worst ever place to take a passport photo. Do not go to this place!
Took my kids to take Australia Passport photo. We were not happy with the photo as my son and looking up with the lip tucked in flat and they don't even want to take another snap to do it properly and trying to force us accept the photo saying they can't do it any better. If you are charging $20 for it, customer expect decent quality. Terrible customer service and bad attitude. impatient and have no regard to quality. AVOID AT ALL COST!

Had to take a photo with a different dimension compared to Australian passport photos. I explained it all and showed the girl who was in charge a sample following sizes in mm and gaps from sides, up and down. She said it is fine, comeback in 30 minutes but pay first 19 dollars. Got back and received my photo which was entirely different from the original I showed her how much gap should be included from all sides but the photo was just my face covering all four corners!! How dumb...I couldn't believe how she managed to produce this image after all that discussion in the beginning and also showing a her a sample. So I explained to her that this is not what I explained..showed her the sample and she was insisting that it is the same....cut the story short, I realised there is no point discussing this further with a stupid person who can't even picture an image in her mind. Despite all this she insisted that she is right !!!! Still can't believe this...anyways 19 dollars wasted down the drain...went to office works and got it done in 5 minutes with exact dimensions. I reckon they are pretty useless when it comes to services like taking photos,....30 minutes wait and still not what I ordered!!! compare it 5 minutes at offcie works and getting exactly what you wanted. Won't try them again. She didn't even bother to say lets take another one!! as if taking another snap would cost any money!!! Poor customer service & dumb attitude that's my experience from Paxton at Westfield- Chatswood .

I normally dont leave reviews but the staff from this store were exceptional. I bought an item from the store and found a component was missing. I went back to the store 4 weeks later (i traveled oversea on the very next day after the purchase) without the receipt (lost it oversea?) but the staff were able to confirm my purchase on their system and gave me the missing component. Thank you very much!

Didn't know that their website said double warranty on all cameras without exceptions, but it was not automatically offered when I purchased...very sneaky...so I made enquiries after the sale and was told I should be able to get it but was rejected by the store manager at Chatswood on a power trip....what's worst than a car salesman? A camera salesman from this mob

Really good service received from Attila, the manager of the store. Good mix of genuine friendliness and professionalism. I am a happy owner of DJI MAVIC now. Very good store with all the latest gear.
