Just heard from the store employee Minh that store has been purchased by Ted's Camera. They match prices with other local retailers however its at desecration of the store management . The store employee must get approval from the management. Even that, they are only allowed to price match up to certain points. I have been their customers for years as they used match other local authorised Australian retailer prices without jumping hoops regardless of price points. In my opinion this is poor customer service direction in a era where we have many options of ordering on-line locally or from overseas. I prefer to visit store for a large purchase such as camera gear to get assistance from knowledgeable staff members such as Minh. I would urge Ted's Camera to re-visit this policy & allow their staff members to match other local re-seller prices if its verified .
