Firstly, let me say your bus was very comfortable & clean & my rating would have been much higher but for my experience. I caught a bus to visit Newcastle for the first time and encountered a rude, arrogant and unhelpful driver. I had just flown in from another state and had my suitcase with me, he begrudgingly opened the hold, I and another person stowed our suitcases in there.. (That's ok, but his attitude wasn't). I had planned my trip by train but was unsure about the stop that I needed to get off to get to where I needed to go. He made it quite clear there was no point asking him, because according to him he didn't even know what the name of the final stop was. There were three elderly Indian women who encountered his rudeness as well. One of them had trouble climbing the steps, he never even offered any assistance. Then they weren't sure about what bus stop to get off and they made an enquiry of him which was just met with rudeness and a very blunt answer. We all ended up getting off at Queens wharf, I contacted my daughter and got her to pick me up and they contacted a taxi to come and collect them. I heard him telling a man that he was speaking to on the bus that he wanted to get back to Sydney so that he didn't miss a shift for the next day & he had been given incorrect information as to an accident on the Pacific Highway which meant he took the wrong road for a period of time. This was no reason for the attitude that he displayed today. It was rude and obnoxious The man obviously needs some extra training on customer service as he will not do the reputation of your family owned bus company any favours. I did not write down the Number on the bus windscreen but I did get the rego number and we arrived at Queens wharf, Newcastle at approximately 3.30pm on Sunday, 29th October.

Had a fantastic, relaxing day yesterday on the Postman's run food on the boat was very good. The driver Norm was very helpful and lovely to chat too.

Out 4 of 5 trips the bus has broken down.
