Every year 4000 to 6000 tonnes of chemical sunscreen enters aquatic environments from our skin (World Health Organisation). These chemicals pollute our oceans, creeks, lakes and rivers, kill off our corals and disrupt the biological processes of aquatic organisms. They have a flow on effect for entire eco-systems.

Sun Butter is an ecological choice so you can be at one with Mother nature’s beauty with out compromising her.



Who are we?

We are two long time friends who shared the joy of sisterhood through school days, travelling the world, wild adventures, chasing dreams on mountain tops, in the oceans. Our greatest love is to be immersed in the Earth's natural beauty.

We are living and raising our children in Byron Bay, the natural beauty of our home inspires us to strive to live the best we can.

We share passions of nutrition, ecology, sustainable development, surf, snowboarding, yoga and the wild outdoors.

This has culminated in the birth of People of the Earth, and Sun Butter.

Our vision has been to create for you a product that has environmental and social integrity at every level of its production, as well as consideration for its impact on the ecosystems it will be used within.

Sun Butter is our first creation. It offers high nutritional sun care that wont compromise the Earth.
