What a great place!! Almost every year I come here for skiing and snowboarding! This season was really great - so much snow powder! Very enjoyed ! Will come back again if the service will stay the same or even better :) !

Fantastic resort. Have visited every year for the past nine years. And have lived every visit. Huge resort, great and friendly staff. Little pricey on lift pass but that's what it costs to ski in Australia. Love the place.

Had a perfect blue bird day late in the season after lots of late snow. Drove straight up to main car park at about 8am managed to get a park in main carpark (3/4 full) Hired everything we needed directly on snow was super easy. Main Lift lines were pretty busy but then headed around to blue cow for some great intermediate and advanced runs heaps less people too. Later in the day worked around to other side of resort for some great solid blue runs. All in all resort is pretty easy to navigate with plenty of signs and maps. And some great natural terrain to enjoy.

In my opinion Perisher is the best ski resort in Australia. It has a large quantity of good runs for all abilities and it's staff are component and friendly. That said I urge people to consider the true cost of sking at Perisher. For example the cost of buying a lift pass is extremely high. For my wife and I to ski for three days it cost us $780 just for lift passes. Couple that with the cost of buying a three day pass just to get your car into the park costing nearly $90. The food on site will also cost you a arm and a leg, a hot chocolate will be nearly $10, a bottle of water $6 and the food is of mediocre taste and quality. To add insult to injury they have no facilities to enable you to be self contained so you have to rely on there on site catering facilities. Then you have the cost of hiring your gear and paying for accommodation on top of all that. I assure you that by the time you ad all of this up you may wonder why on earth it cost so much. Consider your options, it may be almost cheaper to go over seas to do the same thing in Japan where the powder can be sensational. In summary Perisher is a great ski resort but it comes at a rich mans price I'm not sure the value for money is really there.

It is a perfect winter sport trip destination for either beginners or more advanced riders. There are some good restaurants within the resorts, serving warm and tasty food. With the epic pass, we were able to get some discount from the advertised price. The staffs are nice and friendly. All the facilities are easy to use. We had loads of fun there.

Love coming down here every winter with the cousins! We've been road tripping it down from sydney for years now to do some snow boarding during the july holidays. If youre looking for a great place to stay, the closest town is jindabyne. Check out the fallow house on stays! 10 out of 10 highly recommend!

Perisher is great. We got snow which I wasn't really expecting being off season so that was nice. Visited the info centre and had a quick walk through the snow.

User

Great place to go for a nice long walk, beautiful view, was hard to get a park but you'd understand why when you get on the walking trail, just fabulous!

get here early as it gets crowded. toboggan rides were awesome. highly recommend on a clear sunny day.
