We are a community group of local residents who want to improve the Village and Surrounding areas in which we live.
Perthville Neighbourhood Group Description
Perthville Development Group Inc (PDGI) Mission Statement.
The Perthville Development Group's mission is to enhance the local community's lifestyle through effective management, community involvement and commitment to services.
The Perthville Development Group was formed to liaise with Bathurst Regional Council and other bodies in order to make improvements to our district. This district may include localities such as, but not restricted to Perthville, Georges Plains, Lagoon, Wimbledon and Ben Chifley Dam.
To more accurately convey the nature of this community organisation, the name was changed to Perthville Neighbourhood Group as some thought that Perthville Development Group Inc sounded like a land developer rather than a community organisation. Due to the fees involved with changing the incorporated name, the committee of that time decided to call organisation the Perthville Neighbourhood group incorporated as Perthville Development Group.
Meetings are held on the 3rd Tuesday in Feb, April, June, August, October and December with the AGM being held in October.
