How to keep your pets cool:
1. Never leave a pet in the car. Life-threatening overheating can occur in only a few minutes in a car, even when the windows are down. The majority of severe and fatal cases of heat stress that I have encountered as a veterinarian involved pets left in cars.
... 2. When outside, make sure your pet has access to water and shade. If you're going to walk your dogs, walk them in the early morning or at night, but not in the heat of the day. "I see people running with their dogs and the people are sweating. When people sweat, they're cooling down. Dogs can only pant to cool themselves down. Keep them well-hydrated and carry water with you on walks. Really watch their tongue and their panting as a sign."
3. Keep them well-groomed. Shaggy dogs or long-haired cats may appreciate a shorter trim for the summer months.
4. Give pets a place to cool down Providing pets a place to go when they start to feel the heat is a good idea.
5. Knowing what to do if your pet is too hot First and foremost, be ready to call your veterinarian if you believe that your pet is in danger.

Poor customer service. My mum and I have been a customer at Petfood Plus Roselands for about 7 years and the staff there had always been nice up until today where because my mum brought in an empty shopping trolley they claimed that she shop lifting and one of the staff members "had to have a look in the trolley" where of course she obviously found nothing. We are EXTREMELY disappointed and from now on will be doing our shopping elsewhere.
